Look I know neighborhood growth and gentrification is gonna happen, but who are these people kidding? I can’t.

Oh my god I make fun of that place HARD every time I walk by. The end is nigh. See you soon, Avondale.

That is the most pretentious photo I’ve ever seen.

zzzzz

I got up super early this morning to be the first one at the tire shop when they opened at 7am and got my valve stem replaced for a cool $36. At least that was easy.

It’s morning and my tire is still inflated. Whew!

I hate cars

I thought I was being a responsible car owner by putting air in my tires today, but instead I noticed that one of my tires has a semi-broken valve stem, which allows air to rush out if the broken piece of the stem isn’t lined up just right. I managed to get the tire filled up, screw the cap back on with the stem in the right position, and drive home, but now I’m paranoid that it’s leaking slowly and it’ll be flat if I go check on it in a few hours. I’d go get it fixed now, but the tire place I’ve been going to for years (and bought the tires from) closed at noon today and doesn’t reopen until Monday morning.

Also, why is a mechanic closed for most of the weekend? Isn’t that when people have time to get their cars fixed? Seems stupid.

These awesome posters need to be on a wall in my apartment immediately.

This trailer for the new Studio Ghibli film, “The Tale of The Princess Kaguya”, is the best thing ever today.
